At windy city music, our mission is to provide professional gear and expert instruction to our customers.
Our Professional staff is dedicated with providing you with the expertise needed for any situation. Our gear is expertly maintained and we strive every day to provide the best equipment in perfect condition.
Established in 1981 by Randy Flaws. Windy City Music started as a full line music store. Selling guitars, drums, amps, keyboards and speakers. We even provided guitar and drum lessons and guitar and amp repair. We soon began to focus solely on mobile Dj’s and nightclub sound systems. In 1991 we moved from Lincolnwood, ill to Glenview, ill. To a warehouse location selling and renting professional sound and lighting systems for Bands, Churches, Nightclubs, Schools and Mobile DJ’s. 2003 saw us moving again to a much larger warehouse in Burr Ridge, ill, Having grown to be an industry expert and provider of small too large sound systems and entertainment lighting equipment.
2011 our 30th year in business saw us once again move to yet another larger location in Countryside, Il. We keep growing because we keep meeting the challenges of our customers and pride ourselves in doing our job well.
